COMPENSATION GRANTED.
(Special to the “ Star.”) HOKITIKA. This Day. Compensation amounting to £234 with medical and witnesses’ expenses were awarded William (’rase in the Arbitration Court yesterday. C-rase sustained bodily strain while employed by the Public Works Department at the Waitangi River over a year ago, as the result of which he had been incapacitated. Medical evidence was that it would be. three months yet before Crase was fully recovered.
