The work of setting back the road at the cutting leading to Sumner from M C ormack’s Bay is now nearing completion and when it is finished a safe and easy curve will replace what has been regarded by motorists as a deathtrap. The owner of the property adjoining the curve has permitted the Sumner Borough Council, which is doing the work, to cut back into his land so as to make the curve safe.
