NO OPENINGS IN N.Z.

Home Science Graduates go Abroad. (Special to the “ Star.”) DUNEDIN, This Day. The Home Science Faculty, in the annual report, states ; “ The fact that the larger hospitals of the Dominion offer no openings for trained dietitians has resulted in several of the more capable graduates accepting positions abroad. It is earnestly hoped that the time is not far distant when the hospital authorities will recognise the importance, both from the health and economic standpoint, of establishing well-organised dietary departments in their institutions. This would meet the need of supplying advanced training and experience for graduates without necessitating their going abroad.”
