PRESBYTERY MEETS.

Proposal to Visit Westland.

At a meeting of the Christchurch Presbytery yesterday, letters were re ceived from many Presbyterians wish ing Christchurch every success in the celebration of its seventieth anniver sary, and sending greetings. The Presbytery of Westland wrote thanking Christchurch for offering as sistance. It was suggested that if some of the brethren could arrange to spenc their holidays on the Coast arrange ments would be made to use the tim< they were willing to .sacrifice in an at tempt to give the people a sense of the solidarity of the Church and the inter est which was taken by the whole it every division, however isolated. The Rev T. W. Armour stated tha he would be pleased to receive name of those intending visiting the Wes Coast and he would forward them t< ♦he Westland Presbytery.
