CIVIL COURT.

Norman Lory, £S 2s 6d; State Advances Superintendent v Thomas Woodbury, £125 Its 7d and order for possession; New Zealand Farmers* Co-operative Association of Canterbury. Ltd. v. R. A. Pash by, £l3. Judgment Summonses. D. H. Pnllar was ordered to pay the Irish Linen Spinning Weaving Co. the sum of £4 Is forthwith, in default five days imprisonment. _ de Roo- was ordered to pay Frank Ryan the sum of £l6 9s forthwith, in default IS days’ imprisonment. Salesman’s Claim. C- Hunt - salesman, of Christchurch (Mr Tracy) claimed £l7 10s from M. Din, storekeeper, of Chatham Island (Mr Hunter). Plaintiff claimed £9 for wages at -£2 a week for four and a half weeks, £4 10s as the steamer fare from Chatham Island to Lyttelton, and £4 in lieu of notice. Judgment was given for plaintiff for the full amount claimed, less 5s for tobacco, with an order for costs against the defendant. In Lieu of Notice. Raymond Murray Watson (Mr Sargent) claimed from the Timaru Brewery Co. (Mr Campbell), the sum of £96 12s 4d, allegedly due to him in lieu of proper notice of the termination of his employment by the company, and as a claim for further expenses in the running of his private car in the services of the company. Judgment was entered for plaintiff for the sum of £54 12s 4d with costs.
