WAR GRAVES.
Account of Commission’s Work. Per Press Association. V\ ELLIAGTON, December 4. Sir Fabian v,r are arrived by the -Marama to-day, accompanied by Lady Ware. Sir Fabian is permanent vice-chairman of the Imperial War Graves Commission and he brings an account especially for relatives of those whose graves we are caring for and whose names we have commemorated on memorials of the missing.” He expresses the hope, therefore, that as many relatives as possible will attend his lectures. “They will not find them very sad,” said Sir Fabian, “and, indeed, I have been told throughout the Empire that they bring great consolation.” Sir Fabian Ware will speak at the four main centres—Auckland (December 8»$ Wellington (December ID, Christchurch (December 13) and Dunedin (December 14)—and will leave New Zealand by the Rangitane on December 21. Lady Ware is looking forward to meeting members of the Victoria League. She is a member of the Hospitality Committee in London.
