Tentative Itinerary for British Team. N.Z. CHAMPIONSHIPS DATES. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON*, December 4. The visit of the British athletes early in the new year was discussed at a meeting: of the Council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association tonight. The following tentative itinerary was arranged: Leave Sydney, February 14; arrive Wellington. February 18; compete at Dunedin, February 20; at Christchurch, February 22; at Napier or Hastings, February 27; at Wellington, March 2: depart, March 6. It was decided that the Auckland Centre be given permission to invite a team of Victorian athletes, provided the tour finishes by February 25. A further condition is that the centre cooperates with the Hawke’s Bay-Poverty Bay Centre for a meeting at Gisborne if necessary, and with the West Coast (North Island) Centre for a meeting in that district if necessary. March 8 and 9 were fixed as the dates for the New Zealand track and field championships to be held at Wanganui. Evening Meeting. The third of the series of evening athletic meetings conducted by the Canterbury Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association was held at Lancaster Park last evening.
