CHRISTMAS PARTY.
Children Entertained at “ Avonbank.”
At “ Avonbank ” yesterday afternoon Mrs George Gould gave a children’s party in honour of her little granddaughter, Pamela Innes, daughter of Mr and Mrs R. M. Innes, of OrarL. The children played games on the /lawns until tea-time, when they went indoors to the dining-room. Tea they were led to the billiards room; where a brightly-lit and decorated Christmas tree was hung with presents for the little guests. The children present were Pamela Innes, Phillida Gould, Jane Wilding, Felicity and Caroline Cracroft Wilson, Susan and Hamish Cracroft / Wilson, Prudence Barker, John Watherston, Terence Moore, Jennifer Warren, Susan and Humphrey Grigg and* Richard Johnson. A number of adults also enjoyed Mrs Gould’s hospitality, these including Mesdames R. M. Innes, Derrick Gould, Frank Wilding, J. F. Cracobft Wilson, George Helmore, Harold B<arker, J. H. Watherston, John Moore, A. K. Warren, Gilbert Grigg, R. M. D. Johnson, C. Wells, John Grigg, Heath cote Grey, J. F. Studholme, Norton Francis, Miss Dundus and Miss Wells.
