ORANGES FROM JAMAICA.

Thr-e thousand cases of Jamaica oranges, the first of the season, will arrive in Lyttelton to-morrow by the Port Campbell. This shipment will be very welcome to fruiterers for meeting the Christmas trade, and further shipments will arrive periodically during the next few months. The Jamaica oranges are similar in type to those from the Cook " r lands, but are perhaps thicker in the skin and firmer than the latter.
