ROUND THE DANCES.
Kinsman's Orchestra will supply the music for a flannel dance to be held in the Papanui Memorial Hall on Wednesdav A late bus will be run from the dance, and euchre will e played by non-dancers. On Tuesday a flannel cfance will be held in the Mairehau Hall. Holland’s Orchestra supplies the music for dances in the Aranui Hall everv Thursday. . , „ , A fancy dress dance will be held by the lanthe Dance Club in the Jellicoe Hall to-night. A __ . . _ In -The Gray Raven” at Kaiapol. a monster gala dance will be held next Saturday. The Herdman-Fisk Orchestra will supply the music. To-night at the cabaret at Frascati the Herdman-Fisk Orchestra will supply the music. On Monday night the third heat of the cash Monte Carlo will be decided by Judges and a public vote. The weekly dance will be held on Tuesday in Bucketfs gymnasium, Armagh Street, when F. Smith’s orchestra will supply the music. To-night the Caledonian Select Assembly will hold a dance in the Caledonian Hall. Included In the proeramme will be old and new dances, a lucky spot and a cash miniature Monte Carlo. Supper will be provided free. The music will be arranged by George Bradford. . . The select old time dance will take place on Monday evening at the Caledonian Hall. The Evans-Oampbell Band will provide the music, and Miss Mabel Scurr will entertain with tap dances and an Irish jig. The gallery will be open for spectators. A carnival dance will be held at the shilling modern dance next Wednesday in the Sydenham Hall. Dancing will continue from eight till one. The Evans-Campbell Band, with Buddy Smart at the piano, will be in attendance. „ . , The Christchurch Dance Assembly will open its sixteenth anniversary celebrations on Wednesday with a birthday old time ball at the Alexandra Hall. Dancing will continue till 2 a.m. to music supplied by Jackson’s band. A special feature of a very entevtaining programme will be the birthday grand march. Confetti, streamer and balloon showers will be introduced, and Monte Carlo dances will be decided. The assembly extend an invitation to town and country dancers. A special supper will be provided. The -popular sixpenny old time dance will be held on Monday next at the Alexandra Hall. Every patron will receive a special concession ticket for the sixteenth anniversary ball, which will he held on Wednesday next.
