HOT SPELL CONTINUES.
Second Warmest November Since 1902. At noon to-day the temperature at the Meteorological Observatory was 69.5 degrees, and weather conditions for the week-end promised to be ideal for bathers. After a week of warm weather many bathers say that' the sea is warmer now than it has been for several years. Yesterday was the second hottest day this year, 80.5 degrees being registered. The hottest days this year have been as follows: Degrees. October 27 78.7 November 25 80.9 November 26 75.5 November 27 78.1 November 2S 73.1 November 29 74.8 November 20 80.5 December 1 (noon) 69.5 November Weather. The mean temperature for the month was 58.8 degrees, three degrees above the average. Records from 1902 show that the mean November temperature was greater in 1923, when the average was 60.9 degrees, this November ranking next with 1916. There was one frost of 0.9 degrees, on November 19. Sunshine was recorded for 235.3 hours, the mean daily amount being 7.5 hours. Rainfall for the month was 1.56 in, 8 per cent below the normal for November. The mean daily amount of cloud (0-10), was 6.3.
