Britain’s telephones are steadily "going automatic.” In a few years’ time, with one or two exceptions, there will not be a single operator-worked exchange left in Great Britain. By 1942 all London will be automatic and already 1440 out of the 5380 exchanges in the country have made the changeover. Thirty-seven per cent of the telephones in use to-day are automatic. TAN THE NATURAL WAY. Beware of artificial “ tanning ” dyes and pastes, which clog the pores and give only a poor illusion of sun-tanned skin. Get a real natural tan—beautiful and healthy from the sun with the aid of Q-Tol. Nothing else is so good for preventing sunburn and promoting a natural tan. Remember! Mosquitoes and sandflies hate Q-Tol! 6
