Immigration Advocated to Fill Want. / Per Press Association. MASTERTON, November 30. At a meeting of the Wairarapa Provincial Council of the Worn:ns Division of the New Zealand 9 Farmers’ sion of 7 the Farmers’ Union remits were passed: “That the W.D.F.U. supports a policy of ordered immigration of selected and trained British immigrants on a quid pro quo basis with Britain, as outlined by the Immigration Society recently formed in Wellington.” “ That in view of the desperate scarcity of labour on farms and in country homes the Government be urged to do its utmost to expedite the immigration policy launched by the recently-formed Immigration Board.”
