Taupata Loading for Nelson. The motor vessel Taupata is loading at Lyttelton to-day for Nelson. The coastal tanker Paua, on loading bulk motor spirits, proceeds to Picton this evening. The Tees discharged sheep this morning, and sails for Wellington and Waitangi this afternoon. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s Ruahine was expected to sail from Bluff this morning for Lyttelton. COASTAL SHIPPING. STORM arrived last evening from Pigeon Bay, where the vessel discharged a load of sheep yesterday afternoon from Titirangi. The Storm is laying up at Lyttelton for overhauling. PAKUHA went into dock yesterday to have a new propeller fitted and to be painted and cleaned below the waterline. PARERA, from Timaru, is expected on Thursday next to load for Wellington, Nelson, Wanganui, New Plymouth and Waikato. QUEEN ELEANOR is due on Thursday from Tampico, via Auckland and Wellington. Dunedin will he her next port of call. TAUPATA is loading here to-day for Nelson and nearby bays. She leaves for Nelson this afternoon. TEES arrived this morning from the Chathams to load for Wellington. Picton, Wanganui, and New Plymouth. HOLMDALE is to call here on .1 uosdav to load for Wellington, Picton, Nelson and Wanganui. WAIKOUAITT is scheduled to call here on December 16 from Timaru to discharge and load Australian cargo.

NGAKUTA, from Newcastle, is an expected arrival on Friday next from Newcastle with coal. WINGATUI, which recently was recommissioned at Auckland, is loading at Newcastle for New Zealand. WAIMARINO is expected on Tuesday to load for Dunedin and discharge Auckland cargo. OPIHI is to call here on Friday next to load for Nelson and New Plymouth. WAIPIATA should return from the south on Wednesday to load for Auckland. GALE is due to-morrow from the north to load for Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru. BREEZE, on loading here to-morrow, proceeds to Wellington, Picton, Wanganui and New Plymouth. KOMATA FOR JAPAN. The Komata, which was sold recently bv the Union Company together with the Kaimanawa, left the Wellington stream yesterday for- the Patent Slip Wharf for reconditioning prior to towing the Kaimanawa from Auckland to Japan about the middle of next month. Both vessels are to be broken up for scrap metal. SALE OE WAIKAWA. The Union Steam Ship Company’s cargo steamer Waikawa. at present engaged in the trans-Pacific service, has been sold to Rethymnis and Kvluwundis Ltd., London. She is at present on her way to Vancouver from New* Zealand, and is to load at Pacific Coast porvs for Apia. New Zealand ports, Melbourne and Sydney. On completion of discharge in Australia, she is to be banded over there to her new owners. The Waikawa is a sister-ship to Hie Walliemo, which was sold to Greek buyers last month, and which left for England, via Australia, recently under her new name. Kvinos. Built in 1919 by the Northumberland Shipbuilding Co Ltd., Newcastle-on-Tyne, the Waikaiva Is a steal single-screw vessel of 5677 tons gross. ARAHURA TO RESUME. Ar.ihura is to leave Nelson on Monday next for the Wellington Patent Slip, to undergo cleaning, painting and overhaul. She is to resume her running in the Well ington-Nelson service on Wednesdav, December 5. when she will leave Wellington at 7.30 in place of the Kaltoa. PERSONAL. Captain C. W. Coldicutt has replaced Captain D. Wallace as master of the Awahou. WIRELESS NOTICE.
