AGENT’S CLAIM.

Dispute Over Payment of Commission. A land agent’s claim for commission from a Wellington firm arising out of an hotel transaction was heard in the Stipreme Court this morning. The parties were Frank Parris, trading as Parris and Co., plaintiff, and T. and W. Young, merchants, of Wellington, defendants. Air Justice Johnston presided. Mr Upham. and with him Mr H. O. Jacobsen, appeared for plaintiff, and Mr A. T. \ oung, of Wellington, for the defendants. Plaintiff claimed £l5O commission or in the alternative £l5O upon a quantum meruit. After two witnesses had been heard an adjournment was taken and it. was subsequently' announced that a settlement had been reached.
