Sale of Rowing Club’s Art Union Tickets. (Special to the “ Star.”> NAPIER, This Day. A breach of the conditions under the i cense for the sale of art union tickets by the l Dion Boat Club. Wanganui, was alleged by the police when Eugene Joseph Crotty, the secretarv of the club appeared in the Magistrate’s Lourt this morning. It was stated that tickets were sold on the street at Aapier, contrary to a clause in the license. Defendant denied liability stating that he had instructed the agents not to sell tickets in the streets The Magistrate reserved his judgment! 1 nomas Y\ ilson. the agent for the art union in Napier, pleaded guiltv to sellmg tickets in the street and was fined
