CRICKET.
Close Finish to Colts’ Match. A cricket match between two teams of colts captained by I. B. Cromb and C. Crawford was played at Hagley Park yesterday. After a closely-con-tested. game Crawford's team wort by two wickets, each side playing twelve Cromb's side started badly, but E. A. Vincent and A. P. Cobden were together in a good partnership which yielded 179 runs. Vincent scored a vigorous 101 and Cobden was ecjually forceful in compiling 95.
