NEW DOUBLE BILL.
“ Strictly Dynamite ” and “ The Right to Live.” “ As the Earth Turns ” and •- Marooned ” will be shown finally tonight at the Liberty Theatre. “ Strictly Dynamite,” a comedy, and “The Right to Live,” a drama, will comprise the fine new double-feature programme at the Liberty Theatre tomorrow. In “ Strictly Dynamite,” Jimmy Durante has ample opportunity for his inimitable humour in the role of a radio performer who is paid an enormous salary, which enables him to indulge in absurd and highly amusing extravagances. Lupe Velez gives a typically spirited performance opposite him, and acts as an excellent foil. Strong support is given by Norman Foster, William Gargan. Marian Nixon, Eugene Pallette and Minna Gombell. David Burnaby, Richard Bird. Pat Paterson, Francis Sullivan. Frank Atkinson and Lawrence Anderson are the featured players in the powerful drama, “ The Right to Live,” which deals with the discovery of a compound which will neutralise any poison gas. There is a strong romantic element in the love story of the scientist’s daughter and the young man who plays an important part in the unfolding of the story. Box plans at theatre.
