SPREYDON SCHOOL FETE.

_ The executive of the Spreydon School Ex-Pupils Association met in the Spreydon Schoolroom on Wednesday evening. Mr A. T. Smith presiding. A vote of condolence was passed with the relatives of the late Mr Clarence M’Jver. The various committees reported thnt arrangements for the fete, annual reunion tea and dance were well in hand, and the gatherings promised to be a great success. A grant was made to the publicity sub-committee for the purpose of gi\‘ing more publicity through the daily papers. Several new members were elected, and many members wrote expressing their intention of being present. At the request of the School Committee, the president consented to open the fete at 1.30 p.m., and all helpers were asked to be in attendance at 1 p.m. on November 24, at the school grounds.
