A large gathering of Nelson fruit exporters by a margin of one vote passed a resolution recommending that the Fruit Control Board revert to the system of a full panel of brokers selling in London and the provinces. A second resolution was carried to the effect that if in the opinion of the Board pooling is essential, such pooling should be limited to districts.
