BOY DROWNED IN DAM.
per Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, November 7. A four-year-old boy, Francis Taylor, was drowned in a dam on his parents’ property at Taraki this afternoon. The boy’s father, Mr H. M. Taylor, was working in a field near the dam, and his mother was not two hundred yards away: The children had been in the habit of paddling in the shallow water. The body was found by a farm hand, but an attempt at resuscitation was unsuccessful.
