Mr Lyons Announces List of Ministers. United Press Ass»:—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, November 7. The Federal JPrime Minister (Mr Lyons) has announced the membership of the New Cabinet resulting from the coalition.'of the United Australia and United Country parties; but he made no announcement concerning the Deputy-Leadership of the Government. which is expected to fall to Dr Earle Page. Cabinet is composed as follows; Rrime Minister and Treasurer—Mr J. ' A. Lyons.* Minister of Commerce—Dr Earle Page (Country Party). Minister for External Affairs and Territories—Senator Sir George Pearce* Attorney-General and Minister for Industry—Mr R. G. Menzies* Minister for Defence—Mr R. A. Parkhill* Minister for the Interior—Mr T. Paterson. Minister for Trade and Customs—Mr T. W. White* Vice-president of the Executive Council and Minister for Health and Repatriation—Mr W. M. Hughes* Postmaster-General and Minister in Charge of Development—Senator A. J. M’Lachlan* Minister (without portfolio) Directing Trade Treaties—Sir Henry Gullett .* Assistant-Treasurer—Mr R. G. Casey* Assistant-Minister for Commerce and Industry (without portfolio) Senator T. C. Brennan.* Assistant-Minister for War Service Homes and Repatriation (without portfolio)*—Mr H. V. C. Thorby. Assistant Postmaster-General (in House of Representatives)—Mr J. A. J. Hunter. *Members of previous Ministry. The Prime Minister said that Mr F. H. Stewart, former Minister of Commerce, had declined a position in the Ministry, but had offered to associate himself with the Government’s employment policy, which the Government had gratefully accepted.
