BIBLE SOCIETY MEETING.
The annual meeting: of the Cashmere Hills branch of the British and Foreign Bible Society was held on Tuesday afternoon at the home of Airs K. G. Hogg. The Rev A. W. Stuart, organising: secretary for Canterbury and Westland spoke briefly on the work of the society. The collectors for the year were: Mesdames A. W. Andrew, D. Reese, A. V. Winchester: Misses Bishop (2). G. Brown. Clucas (2), Ingold. A. ArAlillan, H. Main, I'rudhoe, Salmond. Al. Waller. Walter and W. J. Inwood. The amount collected was £39 10s 3d. Airs Hogg dispensed afternoon tea.
