VARIETY CONCERT.

In aid of the mission funds of the

Baptist Church, the Oxford Terrace Baptist Gymnastic Club presented a variety concert at the Radiant Hall last night. Aided by the Y.M.C.A. orchestra and local artists, a well varied programme was presented. An outstanding item was the illuminated club swinging by the women members, and songs by the Rev L. A. North were greatly appreciated. Other items were exercises by the men and women, a violin solo by Miss Lily Robertson;

songs by the Tom Thumb Tootlers; a dance duo by Miss G. Smith and Miss D. Buchanan; ventriloquism by Mr F. Brownee; a lantern march by the women; and a tap-dance by Messrs Rex Foster and A. Keen.
