Two thousand guests witnessed the I brilliant pageantry at the Huntingfields 1 Ball at Government House in honour of the Duke of Gloucester. The crush ; was so great that some of the guests ; were admitted by side doors. The Duke of Gloucester received debutantes and opened the dance with the Governor’s daughter.
