New Zealanders Fail to Secure Place. PARMENTIER’S FAST TRIP. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, November 5. The official placings in the handicap section of the Macßobertson air race from Mildenhall to Melbourne are: Scott (England), 1 ; Parmentier (Holland), 2; Melrose (Australia), 3. As Scott won the speed race, he is ineligible for the handicap prize, which is thus won by Parmentier, with Melrose second. As Parmentier has accepted first prize in the handicap, second prize in the speed race goes to Roscoe Turner (U.S.A.), and the third to Cathcart Jones and K. Waller (England). The net flying times of all the com-
