Argument.—The longest hop in the Centenary Air Race was London to Baghdad, 2553 miles. J.T. —On oranges from Australia and British possessions a 3 per cent primage is charged. A duty of Id a pound plus 22i per cent surtax is charged on oranges from foreign countries. The importation of lemons is prohibited at present. Duty on maize from countries within the Empire amounts to Is 6d per hundred pounds, and 2s per hundred pounds on maize from foreign countries.
