RAILWAYS BUSY.
Railway lines in Canterbury are experiencing a busy week. It was reported this morning that traffic from all districts was heavy, but that trains were travelling well on time. If the weather remains fine, it is expected that the attractions of Carnival Week in the city will give the department one of the most profitable weeks of recent years for this district.
