No business of any special interest has been done in the grain and produce markets during the last week or so. There ha« been no alteration in values. A limited coastal trade continues to be done in oats. peas, ryegrass and clovers, but practically nothing is being exported overseas. Very few lines of potatoes have come in this week, owing to the holiday period. Inquiries are limited, with odd orders coming from this North Inland. There is still a fair amount of stuff on the farms. The Kartigi is scheduled to leave for Auckland to-morrow with supplies from Lyttelton.
