TRAFFIC RAID.

Motorists Caught Without Licenses. Many motorists were caught without licenses in a comprehensive raid conducted by the City Council traffic department for a couple of hours yesterday morning. A net was spread around the city, inspectors being stationed on most of the arterial roads, and motorists who either did not possess licenses or had left their licenses at home were caught unawares. As a result of the raid about 150 motorists called at the traffic depart ment this morning to show their licenses or to make application for licenses.
