Hansen and Jensen (Denmark) arrived at 7.5 p.m. Owing to the boggy ground at Alor Star Hansen rose only -after his tenth attempt. At the first it seemed impossible to get off, but after dispensing with all their personal baggage, they got away successfully. They are experiencing magneto trouble. They hope to proceed to-morrow, when their baggage arrives and the magneto has been repaired. Melrose’s Progress. C. J. Melrose left for Batavia at 5.32 p.m. (Greenwich Mean Time).
