Bright Prospects in Hawke’s Bay. (Special to the *’ Star.”) WELLINGTON, October 20. Galloping fare for the Hawke’s Bay public will be provided on Monday at the Waipawa Country Racing Club’s annual meeting at Waipawa, where the fields are well up to average standard. In most of the events there is a good amount of recent from. This club, like so many of the smaller country clubs, has reverted to the single-pool system of betting, and two dividends will be declared when there are five or more starters.
