SEA CADETS

Navy League Corps Launches Two New Whalers. Two new whkiers purchased by Ihe Navy League Sea Cadets Corps were placed in commission at Re<?eliffs this afternoon. Mr W. TI. Nicholson, Mayor of Sumner, and Mr T. Chapman, patron of the corps, named and launched the boats, the Terror and the Steadfast. The whalers, two ex-service boats, were obtained through the British Admiralty. Their purchase was made possible largely by the generosity of a. number of supporters of the corps, notably Mr Chapman and Mrs Mowbray Tripp.
