Also, can you suggest a handy-sized book on grammar, which would be of use to a grown man who desires to polish up his English a bit? The zebra wolf is a native of Tasmania, or, rather, that is what "Touchstone’s” dictionary says. Certainly it is not a native of New Zealand, nor does it exist in New Zealand. If the correspondent requires a grammar pure and simple, Nesfield’s is reliable, but if something else is needed to help the writer, there is a very, good little book, published in 1925, " English Prose and How to Write Tt,” by Robert Blatchford.
