Lord Baden-Powell to Visit New Zealand. British Official Wireless. RUGBY, September 20. The world tour of Lord BadenPowell, the Chief Scout, which will begin on October 27, will embrace visits to Gibraltar, Port Said, Aden, Ceylon, Malaya, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada and Newfoundland. He will be accompanied by Lady Baden-Powell, the Chief Guide, and their two daughters. Everywhere Lord Baden-Powell will be met by representatives of the movement, which has an active membership of nearly 3,500,000, exclusive of the millions of men and women who have passed through its ranks. Features of the tour will be the attendance at the Australian jamboree, near Melbourne, on November 28, and at q. similar gathering of American Boy Scouts in New York. Soon after his return to England. Lord Baden-Powell, whose age is seventy-seven years, will visit Sweden for the world Rover Scout Moot there, and is due to leave for South Africa a little later.
