KILLED INSTANTLY.
Per Press Association. THAMES. October 2. Matthew Cornelius Smith, an elderlyfarmer of Hikutaia. between Thames and Paeroa, was killed instantly while working on his farm about midday yesterday, as the result of being struck on the head by a big stone that had been dislodged from the hillside.
