Assessors Appointed to Meet Board. The following assessors have been appointed to represent the Christchurch Tramway Employees’ Union in negotiations with the board for a new agreement in regard to wages and working conditions, which, it is understood, will be opened next week:—Union headquarters, Messrs J. Wilson and T. W. Smith: traffic department, Messrs J. A. Webb, E. Askew and R. Israelson; permanent-wav, Messrs H. Nuttridge and T. May: overhead. Mr E. O’Berg; drivers, Mr P. Blewman; day-shift, Mr C. Penticost: night-shift, Mr C. Guy. The board’s representatives will be Messrs J. K. Archer. G. Manning, E. Parlane and W. J. Walter.
