Members of the Canterbury Pilgrim? and Old Settlers’ Association, at their quarterly meeting in the Old Art Gallery on* Saturday afternoon, showed great interest in a set of four albums of old, but well preserved, photographs taken by the late Dr Barker of wellknown old identities and sites familiar to many of the early Canterbury settlers. The collection, subject to the approval of one member of the Barker family, is to be presented to the Pilgrims’ Association, and will doubtless be greatly treasured for its historic interest.
