“The Thin Man.”

A different brand of mystery has been contributed to the screen, one that avoids the plots and horrors of the usual thriller, j'et holds interest from beginning to end and inspires many hearty chuckles. It is “ The Thin Man,” which will shortly be screened at the Regent Theatre. William Powell, noted for his detective characterisations, plays an entirely different role in this picture from those he has played in his former pictures. Myrna Loy is seen in a light different from her former pictures, and makes her debut as one of the screen’s most charming light comediennes.
