LONDON, August 10. <Tn the 24 hours road race run at Le Mans, France, the British Singers competed with outstanding success. For the Rudge Whitworth Cup, Singer cars were placed second and third, while in the class up to 1000 c.c. Singers gained first, third and sixth places. Of the forty-four cars of all nationalities that started, only tvrenty-lhree were able to complete this gruelling race. Sixteen of these were British, including five Singers. , 6
