United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, July 25. The City Editor of “The Times” says that Australian Government stocks advanced to-day and should rise further as the result of the impressive story of recovery and the restoration of credit told by the Australian Prime Minister, Mr J. A. Lyons, in his Budget speech. Few countries can show an equally marked improvement in face of the many hindrances and obstacles in the foreign field. Australia owes her recovery to the pursuit of simple, well-established principles, sound finance and the avoidance of specious and complicated processes of monetary manipulation and financial legerdemain.
