MANUFACTURERS MEET.

The executive of the Canterbury Manufacturers* Association met last evening, Mr F. W. J. Belton presiding. It was announced that the New Zealand Federation’s constitution had been discussed at the recent meeting in Wellington. The emergency committee was given full power to deal with any business coming before it. The Canterbury Master Plumbers’ Industrial Union wrote regarding the appointment of judges at the forthcoming winter show, and it was decided to ask the union to appoint two judges.
