Acceptances for Second Day.

(Special to the “ Star.”) GREYMOUTH, July 26. Following are the acceptances for the second day of the Greymouth Trotting Club’s meeting (Saturday) :

Work at Awapuni. Per Press Association. PALMERSTON NORTH, July 26. The tracks at Awapuni ai’e very heavy and indications are for real winter conditions on Saturdav for the Marmwatu Club’s fixture. The track and course proper were open this morning:, but the flaps were wide out. Esteem and Square Acre ran seven furlongs in lmin 37 l-ssec, the first half-mile being covered in 55 2-ssec. Esteem held a slight advantage throughCallamart did two rounds of solid pacowork. running the last six furlongs in lmin 35sec. Good Hunting, travelling comfortably

alongside Ebeum, did five furlongs in lmin 9 l-ssec. Catalogue had the measure of Round Score, with Lord Moutoa a couple of lengths back, <tt the end - of five furlongs done in 1 min 8 l-ssec. The first two furlongs occupied 26 4-ssec. King Thomond drew clear of Mid Acre and Flamen in a run home, running the last three furlongs in 41see. Golden Chant, going alone, left five furlongs behind in lmin SJsec, after covering tlvo first two furlongs in 26 l-ssee. Blacksmith strode out freely over six furlongs in lmin 26£ser. Henry of Navarre led Calydon and Boudoir throughout a six furlong task and was still clear at the post. The course was traversed in lmin 24 3-ssec. From a barrier start, Gnycoma and Severe, a brace of two-year-olds, r.m two furlongs in 25Jsec, Gaycoma being in front. This was a smart effort.
