Two sites, chosen by the Fendalton Domain Board for the proposed new park, are to be submitted to a public meeting to be held in St Barnabas Schoolroom on August 9. It was stated that the rating area had already been fixed by the board, but wotild to be approved by the Waimairi County Council, which would consider the matter at its meeting tomorrow evening The rating area suggested would comprise the whole of the Fendalton Riding, with the exception of the area rated for Elmwood Park, and also that portion of the riding to the east of the railway line.
