Fisk, general manager of Amalgamated Wireless of Australasia, annourtced that a front page picture appearing in the London “ Evening Standard ” on Saturday was transmitted from Australia in twenty-five minutes through the medium of beam wireless. lie added that television, however, would not be practicable for live oi ten years.
