HOCKEY FIXTURES.

(Special to the "Star.”) DUNEDIX, July 24. The Canterbury Ilockev Association in a letter to the Otago Association asked if Otago intended to challenge for the Hatch Cup and offered to send a team to play a match at Dunedin. The Otago Association decided to challenge for the cup and to suggest September 1 as a suitable date. August 11, the date suggested by the Canterbury Association for the match against Otago, was accepted.
