PREBBLETON NOTES.

The fortnightly card socials in aid of the funds of All Saints’ Church were continued in the Prebbleton Parish Hall last week, when prizes were won by Mrs J. M’Clintock, Airs L. Harris, Messrs W. Banks and G. Walker. Supper was provided by members of the Women’s Committee.

The influenza epidemic continues to claim many victims and occasional cases of measles are still reported in the district, although it has not been found necessary to close the school on this account.
