RELIEF OF DISTRESS.
The sum of £5433 11s 7d in cash or goods has been donated as a result of the Canterbury Progress League’s appeal on behalf of the Mayor’s Relief of Distress Fund. Of that amount £3036 Is 7d has been given and £2397 10s has been promised. The latest donations are as follows:
