Mamos and Shikina to Meet in City. Tlio match between Harry Mamos, of Greece, and Oki Shikina, of Japan, will be hteld in the St James Theatre on Wednesday evening - . Half the contest will be decided under catch-as-catch-can rules anck the other half under jiu-jitsu, in which the contestants will wrestle in jackets* Among- tfhe four amateur preliminaries to the international match will be a heavy-weight contest between the Canterbury champion, D. G. Simpson, and D. J. Ldoyd, who, until injured, gave his opponent such a hard match at the last amateur championships. The light-weight amateur champion, Joe P. Genet, will also meet an improved opponent in Sam Todd. In the. welterweight division, T. K. Calder will meet H. S. Batchelor, and N. Lungevie will meet P. T. Brooks. As an emergency bout, the association has arranged for a middle-weight contest between G. U. Asher and P. A. Bogie. All tickets, including reserves, are now' obtainable at Lange's. United Service Buildings. Doors will open at 7 p.m., from which time early patrons will be entertained by the lanthe Orchestra, and a session of community singing will be loc? by that popular artist, (Jeorge Titchener.
