POUISHNOFF’S CONCERTS.
The concert to be given to-morrow evening in the Radiant Hall by the world-renowned pianist, Leff Pouishnoff promises to be a rare musical treat. Chorale, “Our Father Who Art in Heaven” (Bach), Sonata B flat minor. Op. 35 (Chopin), followed by excerpts by Schumann, Debussy. Scriabine. Liszt, etc., and a composition “Ouand il Pleut,” by Leff Pouishnoff himself, are amongst some of the gems to be presented. New Zealand is fortunate in being aide to hear such an outstanding artist in the height of his career, and it is only owing to the enterprise of Hugo Larsen that this is possible. To-morrow’s concert and Wednesday’s matinee are by request, the music loving public of Christchurch having taken Pouishnoff to their hearts. Both box plans and day sales are at Begg’s. Concessions are being allowed to parties of ten and to all schools and colleges. It is advisable to book early as there are already indications of crowded houses.
